linus your making me feel really bad about my gpu choice in my first pc. I got a evga geforce gtx 1660 super. which is a significant step up from the 750 i have in this dell im moving away from. i just built my first full pc all the parts. i5 10600k, msi pro b460m pro motherboard, and 2 x 8gb g skill ripjaws ram sticks.( yeah i know they are 3200 mhz and the board doesnt support it). I plan on changing that when i can. but you just kinda dashed my dreams.

Dude... a RX5700XT is very nice, between a RTX2060 and a RTX2070. It's a good option if you don't want to buy into a Intel/Nvidia Cartel.

The dell models include 1 stick for 16 gb or 2 8gb sticks at the same price if you want dual channel. I'm guessing it is because you can buy 1 16 gb stick in the machine and later easily upgrade to 32 gb

When talking about the Maingear PC: "But you can upgrade to Zen 3." True story, I bought from them around Black Friday of 2020 and Maingear just randomly upgraded my PC to a Zen 3 chip for free (a Ryzen 5 5600x). Not sure why but I was very thankful!

I have a feeling that the reason for the lack of ryzens in these machines is because of the demographics that are going to be calling these companies through phone. If you have any tech know how, you won't be wasting time on a phone. For the non tech heads, intel is a house hold name that lets the company have easier upsells. Or all the ryzens have already been sold out lol

Anthony Tier....because Anthony is a BOSS. Really enjoyed the vid guys. I own 2 Cyberpower PC's and both arrived in immaculate condition. I've since upgraded both PC's but their original condition was flawless. Was shocked to see how banged up CP PC arrived for you. I'm blaming it on the Pandemic.

2:37 omg look at that pathetic I/O. That is literally the most barebones rear I've ever seen on a PC that comes in a standard case (no thin clients or NUCs obviously) I guess it's the way things have gone these days though. Like even speakers/headphones can be (or usually are) USB. No need for those PS/2 really. And when you can save money, go for it. It's just something us oldies need to get used to. (although I guess redundant onboard video can be good for when your GPU fails, or _potentially_ (?) when switching GPUs and changing drivers (although it shouldn't be needed for that). Only downside is that I don't think consumers can order those barebone motherboards for their own systems to actually get these savings. The savings the manufacturers get from this just goes to them due to their mark-up.

Everyone else is still commenting so I might as well too for fun. I got my current desktop in November of 2019, same case, identical cooling setup, and exact same issues as the CyberPowerPC one, except mine lacked the fan on top and was bought in-store so dents were nonexistent. Mine came with an R7 3700X and a 2070 Super but the RGB controller was close to falling apart and the RAM was the cheapest they could find for it.

on the Omen 875 Series YOU CANNOT SWAP THE MOTHERBOARD. It's 4cm smaller than any mATX board on the market and the FP power connections are actually PROPRIETARY and must connect to the RBG controller board, NOT the power button!
