@ShowXTech Oh, right, it's x8. I really don't see that making too much of a difference in terms of performance though...It's already going to be very good at x4. My guess is that you're lucky if you see 10% performance gain. Doesn't seem worth it.

In my opinion i think this mobile form factor of an egpu should have been made a long time ago and id say "just guessing btw" it is cheaper thean buying the gpu and thean pitting it in an egpu case this also gets rid of the annoying hadtle of haveing to remover ur wifi card out of your only pci slot to plug in your gpu so much mpre convinient asus did an amazing job

These would be the perfect laptop for me if only they put a webcam on them, I only use a webcam occasionally but it would be a huge bummer if it wasn't there when I needed it.

Those aren't the first laptops with 3 gpu's. The Toshiba Qosmio X305 had 3 gpu's. An integrated NVidia chip and 2 dedicated/discrete NVidia gpu's in dual card configuration.

This channel "Linus tech Ads" is so much fun. Since i don't get enough ad on my browser and my youtube, i can still click on "Linus tech Ads" channel and watch more ad ! That's so cool. Linus just invented the Ads sandwich concept. That's simple, take an ad for, let say Asus laptop, and surround it with 2 ads for random sponsor, put one at the start, one at the end, and you have your full ad sandwich video. So clever.

I think this is an amazing idea. A full speed external gpu that has an upgrade path. All that they need is a proper cpu socket so that you can swap out cpus. Or use the extra room from removing the gpu from the board to add cooling for the cpu so that you can have a full fat desktop speed cpu. I see a lot of good to come of this. I prefer to have my desktop and have access to my desktop but when I have to travel, something like this would be so amazing.

Hi,linux, You must be as excited about Flow13 as we are. He is so perfect. The only doubt is how much his memory latency is? 4800HS is a standard voltage, theoretically it will not divide the frequency of the memory, and LPDDR4X may be delayed. What is the final memory delay? 100ns? 90? 80?
