I've legit had my HAF-XB case (first gen, not evo) for over a decade and at least three different platforms throughout its time- it's gone through several moves, and has had its fair share of abuse. its a fantastic case and has a ton of room and ventilation. It's also had the same 1k plat kingwin since forever ago too. 9700k, 2070 super, m2's, the works- still have a CD drive because why get rid of it when theres a space for it below the other space for it :D

The ac-97 audio still has it's place. Sometimes, you have an old i3 lying around that you want t build for your daughter and you need a new case and it would be great is it allowed for ac-97 headers.

I'm going to make this PC and it will be my first build I'm right now on an HP Laptop silver core and it's not that good it plays tf2 at high fps 31fps and a low of 1 fp3s. And it runs Minecraft at a high 60 fps and a low of 1 fps. It will take me a bit bc the money.

Linus literally looks like every guy in high school that when a girl asked him to come help her with her homework, he literally just went over to help her do her homework. On your comments about the herd mentality parts not having RGB... it's because 1) rgb (i feel) is distracting, not necessarily visually appealing and 2) i think most consumers care much more about performance and price vs performance, rather than aesthetics. I'm building a pc atm and i genuinely only consider performance and cost (which the rat's nest of wires dangling in my case could attest to).

Why would you buy a 660p for $130 when you can buy a 970 EVO for about that which is twice as fast and is just way better overall. Or at least i got mine for about €130. Which is definitely worth it for a high end drive.

All of that would work just as good on a sub 150 bucks B550MB. Worst possible NVME drive to and horror of horrors a HDD. RAM under 3600MHz makes no sense at all.
