Realize also that a large portion of Shroud's audience likely does not watch LTT, because they're not Enthusiast Computer People - they just like to watch a hardcore gamer do his thing. So the amount of relative views LTT "loses" to Reaction videos from outside their normal scope - for example, a Twitch streamer like Shroud - is probably very small. (You can't lose something you never had to begin with.)

The naming for apples headphones and earphones according to Jon Prossor is quite simple: Air means wireless Pod means music devices aka homePODs, so pod dont necessarily mean earpods Max means its the best or biggest model Thus the naming of airpods max now kinda makes sense

In my opinion, "react" videos are IP infringement. The amount of effort put in by the person reacting isn't nearly enough to constitute being called a content creator. Anyone who does reaction videos should be required to get the approval of the original content creator, at the very least.

Understand that all of these expensive gears are devoted to rich people now because **they can't supply the whole planet so they turned to the rich** ... LOGIC ! Apple won't release a folding screen until it is 100% seamless... The current folding screens are all compromised in some way, be it finger feel with the bump, a bulge when closed, delaminating plastic screens, dirt in the hinge... on and on and on...

Linus said Intel needs to put engineers back in charge but failed to mention that the vast majority of the Vice Presidents at Intel are engineers. Even the chairman of the board, Omar Ishrak (former CEO of Medtronic) who Linus mentioned explicitly, is also an engineer. Sure their CEO is not an Engineer but almost everyone else in a leadership position is. I really hope this is an honest mistake that Linus corrects in the future.

Apple purchased Beats because of Beats’ app, because they have some types of algorithms for searching music and recommending music for you of data, what you listening to. So Apple then used and still using for Apple Music.

The difference between nintendo making a new console that takes a drastic change and apple is the amount of money lost if it's a flop. Nintendo maxes out at like 100 million consoles over 7 years. Iphones sell like 40 million + a year at 700-1300$. Apple is unwilling to risk losing big sales on an iphone. They will add an iphone to the lineup, much lower risk.

Hope Linus sees this but "Airpods Max" does follow apple naming scheme quite accurately. When apple uses the term "Air" in the beginning of a product name, it indicates wireless eg: airpods, airdrop, airtags, etc. "Pod" is apples term for music listening eg: ipod, earpods, airpods, homepod, etc. so "AirPods Max" actually makes a lot of sense. (though "Max" is kinda lame, it does follow their trend of naming bigger things "Max")

normally those investment funds have at least the same knowledge then any given company they invest in. they just focus on the maximizing of their investment. that can be short- or long-term. and yes. big investors are normally satisfied with board seats etc. that’s why you have so large boards at those big public companies.

Sony are still selling music players in Japan, they're great for storing your own Hi-Res music and saving phone storage and battery. I don't think Apple would have too much trouble selling a foldable high quality music player to go with their new high quality audio equipment. Seems like iPod would be a good way to experiment with new tech

apple need to do a fold because they have to keep the pretense that they're innovative. Can't have everyone else doing it and not them. But it will be so expensive that it's still cheaper to have an iphone and ipad so it won't step on anything. It's just going to be a way to drain a lot of money from some rich idiots while keeping the innovation veneer.

The test samples are for iPhone, but the final device will be something more like iPad, let say iFlip, closer to Microsoft Surface Duo I think, but with one foldable screen. And more important thing, they will not show this device if they will not produce a special foldable glass - hard surface that will fold. I do not believe to get a soft screen surface from an Apple, and that thing is probably 5+ years from now. And if not they will eliminate crease, the surface will be smooth. And purpose end in apple with Jobs death, if that iFold/iFlip will be good it will kill iPad.
